Vacaciones

Ya casi salgo de vacaciones. Estuve trabajando como burro, en la escuela y la tienda, y nomás no se pudo ;_;

CC Kansai

I went to CCK last saturday, it blew away all of my expectations!
Especially the size of the event! There were around 16,000 artists. JUST artists! So you can only imagine how many people were attending… If it hadn't have been sweltering hot, it would've been much more enjoyable.

Anyhow, here’s the basic rundown of my day:

3:30 a.m. Wake up, breakfast, wait for Chiaru.

5:30 a.m. Board train to Osaka with Chiaru Mukot, Chiaru Haru and other kinds of Chiaru.

8:00 a.m. Arrive at convention center more than 2 hours early (and yet there are hundreds already there and more piling in)

10:30 a.m. Event opens and large groups are lead in one at a time

12:00 p.m. Pretend to eat lunch, ship dollfie doll to mom, spend more monies on doujinshis and handmade stuff for Equus, Julia, Xabin and people into doujin.

2:00 p.m. Leave an hour before con ends to avoid 1,000’s of people going home at once… and yet train is still jam packed beyond reason.

Cosplaying and photography are strictly prohibited at this particular event, as such, I could only take photos of my buys after I returned. Mom, I didn't take a photo of your dollfie, but it was beatiful, and you'll like it.

I slept in Chiaru's house that night. We made vegan pizza, capirotada (I don't know why) and play mahjong. God, I'm so bad at it.

These are for Julia. Everything was cheap! YAHOOO I LOVE JAPAN!
I was the worst thing ever!

That's pizza. Vegan pizza with unknow ingredients.

It's almost a month without tortillas, it's driving me INSANE.

Tokyo Wonderland

"In that direction," the cat said, waving its right paw round, "lives robotics guys; and in that direction," waving the other paw, "lives mechatronic guys. Visit either you like; They're both nerds"
"But I don't want to go among nerds," Gilberto remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat; "We're all nerds here. I'm nerd. You're nerd."
"How do you know I'm nerd?" said Gilberto.
"You must be," sai the Cat, "or you woldn't have come here."
